The discount rate being used is about 6%. With that kind of money, you’ll have access to lots of interesting investment opportunities and tax shelters to beat that rate. (Also, investing that kind of money in the stock market is for losers. Think bigger.)

Then give it to people and organizations that need help, not the Ivy League schools your heirs will now be able to attend due to your great wealth. They don’t need the money. Your location vocational training school does and it will make a bigger difference in more lives.
