Power and dominance aren't the same thing, and people that don't recognize their own power are the most likely to be ignorant of their abuse of it.
But is is worse to be ignorant than cognizant of one’s abuse of power?
Yes, because the first step in reversing harm that comes from abuse is recognizing one's capacity for harm.
I was thinking if one is aware of the abuse, it’s deliberate.
That's true! Deliberately abusing power is worse, though it still doesn't excuse the unwitting abuse of power. Both have negative outcomes, though I'm more willing to forgive unintentional abuse. End of the day, she shouldn't brush aside her own power.
