Brett Kavanaugh’s alternately blundering, messy, enraged, arrogant performance gave us a close-up look at what white fragility and entitlement look like, writes @hhavrileskyhttps://nym.ag/2DF1Xiy

A fantastic article! Eloquently reflects my reaction to Kavanaugh's testimony yesterday. Kavanaugh's exclusive and tight little club of elite men (including the likes of out-of touch Senators) is off-limits to most Americans. Frankly, I'm sick of it!

I couldn't help but think while I listened to his testimony that his words, behavior and that of many of the Senators in reaction to it all was the embodiment of "privilege." Their lack of awareness to this fact is what is so frustrating for me.

Disagree. And i believe your headline does more to damage the #metoo movement than help it. What the hearing demonstrated, IMO, is a country evolving, recognizing errors of the past - and allowing woman to define themselves, their paths and what's considered acceptable treatment.

I agree with most of your article. You lose me and countless others when you blame white males. Oh the outrage there would be if you changed that to black males. Lets not forget Clarence Thomas, OJ Simpson and Keith Ellison. Your painting with such a broad brush is outright lying

Compared to the black fragility of Clarence Thomas, who called it a 'high tech lynching'? Interesting - I suppose we all have our 'last refuges'. #PreReadResponse #IPvsAUP
