Mocking and attacking people's traditions is and will remain a losing strategy.

Not closing a door one’s just walked out of is the height of privilege & needs mocking. Here’s the most humble act rendered by a royal since Diana. UK Servants running to do or undo anything a royal has undone or done is a royal waste of $$. Questioning status quo is progress.

As neat as that saying is, it contradicts the thinking that has driven progress from Aristotle, through Hegel, Jefferson and Hamilton, today. When you look at one of the key differences between Liberal Democratic societies and other ones...

Agreeing to drastically disagree. Drop as many names you you like, but all of those people, - rolling in their graves, ESPECIALLY Hamilton @HamiltonMusical @HamiltonLDNfans @HamiltonWestEnd questioned the status quo DEEPLY. Questioning the status quo is the BEGINNING of progress.

Yes they questioned the status quo. But they also noticed (Hegel wrote about it) the difference in the way we recorded history.

They’re not mutually exclusive. Our “record of history” is now more threatened than ever with a Republican gov wanting to remove evidence of the Holocaust, evidence of Hilary Clinton (Texas Dept. Of Edu), or any aspect of history that would not advance its agenda. Dangerous.

Meghan doesn't deserve this intense level of scrutiny and I don't think Harry should have to relive what he went through with his mother, Diana. People are losing their shit over every hairstyle, gesture or microscopic change. The media is feeding this hysteria.
