Luckily for the residents of New York, you passed the SAFE Act to limit our constitutional rights.

How have our rights been limited? My husband and I have shotguns and slugs, there’s never been an issue. We have to provide our name & address when purchasing ammo—- who the f*ck cares if it helps in any way.
-
They absolutely have been limited.
-
Care to be specific??
-
For one... and this is only looking at your last tweet: having to provide a name/address for ammo. No thanks. No database. I’ll just make it instead, or buy elsewhere.
-
How does that infringe on ny rights? How else can the make sure a violent felon isn’t buying it? The life of a child is worth the minute it takes to provide an address.
-
Databases are prohibited by the FAOPA 96’ First step in confiscation. It’s not worth our rights, especially when root causes are willfully ignored by
#GunSense.

Another loser that doesn’t understand how laws and criminals work. Gun free zone. Mental defective doesn’t follow the threatening signs. Maybe if the teacher in that classroom was able to carry a firearm, they would’ve been able to stop this? Wait. That’s common sense.

Thank you Gov. Cuomo for the SAFE Act which DOES keep our kids safe! Compared to Florida and Texas with the worst gun laws and more school shootings!!
-
The safe act is one of the worst things ever passed. Are you safer now? Nope

Like what? Saying "do something" is not leading either.

Until this is treated as a mental health issue it will never change, but that’s not politicaly attractive now is it?

Its not guns. It's the hands their in.....
-
Unfortunately, too many of hands THEY’RE in lack the education, mental clarity, and responsibility to own weapons. We’d all be safer with tighter gun laws, but ignorance keeps ER docs, medical examiners, and funeral homes busy...and the NRA rolling into the money.
-
Tighter? We have gun laws: NFA 1934 FFA 1938 GCA 1968 FOPA 1986 Brady 1993 AWB 1994 NICS 2007 We will not comply until root causes are addressed. Until then,
