I’m terrified for my family.

Me nephew relied on this for his recent surgery. There are millions of children all over the US that need the type of medical coverage that CHIP affords them.

And how can sick people function without health benefits in NY? We can’t! We are paying too much in cost of living here!!!!

Many of us benefit from employer based insurance, but there’s no mandate that employers must cover you... most of these people pump your gas, make your food, now your lawns, they do contract work, in their own way, they help keep things running. They need to be insured & counted

NY is wicked expensive. I love it here, it’s just big $ for a single disabled parent.

It’s big bucks for two parents, too... I’m a contractor, thankfully we get insurance through my spouse’s employer.

Thank goodness! I am mapping out plans for our family. Somehow it will work out. I know the truth of this tax bill & CHIP. They can’t touch the needy.

Staten Island is a little better, but if you work in the other boroughs, it’s so difficult in terms of commute.
