Anyone who thinks electric scooters will reduce traffic is bonkers. You think the ladies calling Uber in their heels and dresses will hop onto a scooter instead? Scooters take over bike lanes and discourage bicycling and walking. Only the Bird et al scooter companies benefit.

We have them here in St. Louis along with the bikes. I see that they zip around but I haven’t come in contact with one. A scooter rider did carjack a women last week.
