Because Proposal 3 passed → NYC will form an Office of Racial Equity, create Racial Equity Plans, and establish a Commission on Racial Equity. Because Proposal 4 passed → NYC is now required to measure the actual cost of living.

So, which party has control in Congress? → Democrats maintained a majority in the U.S. Senate and Republicans gained the majority in the U.S. House. In fact, party control for both chambers of Congress was determined by just a few seats.
