@NYCTSubway Submitted complaint before I saw that tweet. #150122-000400
@beadsland If an incident occurs on a NYCT train, regardless of location, it falls under the jurisdiction of the NYPD Transit Bureau. ^BD

@NYCTSubway If that's so, then why did@NYC311 insist I specify a precinct when I was assaulted on the Manhattan Bridge B train a year ago? -
@NYCTSubway@nyc311 We ended up flipping a coin for the precinct, who then proceeded to close the police report without doing anything. -
@NYCTSubway At no point did@nyc311 offer to forward report to NYPD Transit Bureau. They were looking up addresses of subway stops instead. -
@NYCTSubway Mind you, I only called@nyc311 when I could find no contact information anywhere for anything like "NYPD Transit Bureau". -
@NYCTSubway So if "Transit Bureau" jurisdiction, why is there no readily accessible contact info? Why does@nyc311 know nothing about them? -
Don't think I didn't notice your non-answer: ask who patrols under river, you tell me whose jurisdiction after crime committed.
@NYCTSubway -
Which doesn't tell me who patrols under the river, only who catches the shit when crime happens absent patrols under the river.
@NYCTSubway -
Funny how when noone is responsible for performing a task, all we're told is who is accountable for consequences of it not being performed.
