@beadsland Thanks, we've received your report. Again, we take this very seriously. Sending info to the NYPD Transit Bureau. Stay safe. ^LM

@NYCTSubway Hoping some real action will be taken this time, and that no one hides behind "broken windows" policing being "too dangerous".Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@NYCTSubway Just read the reply to my complaint, advising that police patrol the subways. But who patrols the spans over/under the river? -
@NYCTSubway I regularly see uniformed police board at a Bedford going further into Brooklyn or 1st going into Manhattan, but... -
@NYCTSubway never going other way. My impression is that police stick to their precincts, leaving river spans an unpoliced no-man's land. -
@beadsland Please be advised that the NYPD Transit Bureau polices the trains across all boroughs (excluding the Staten Island Railway). ^BD -
@NYCTSubway Across, but what about crossing between? I see them disembark before the river often, never see them ride through. -
@NYCTSubway On a related note, when last called to report assault on subway, 311 insisted I identify precinct, rather than "transit bureau". -
@NYCTSubway Exactly what police precinct does a train moving across the bottom of the East River fall under? -
According to http://www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/html/precinct_maps/precinct_finder.shtml … 9th & 13th precincts stop at FDR drive, 94th at Brklyn waterfront. Who patrols under river?
