most NYC sidewalks are much narrower than this. Instead of placing the blame on individual residents, why don't you begin closing streets to traffic to allow people enough space to properly spread out?

That's nearly impossible, given the diagram. But what's worse, we're allowing community input to shrink sidewalks on future projects like this. twitter.com/joby_jacob/sta Let's not do that going forward.

In exchange for approving the #Flushing luxury waterfront rezoning tomorrow, the community board will ask DOT to shave the sidewalk on Roosevelt Ave (west of College Pt Blvd) further. As you can see, if this happens pedestrians will be walking on grates. twitter.com/joby_jacob/sta…

Gonna keep taking matters into my own hands until and take this #SocialDistancing lack of space problem seriously. There's a bus stop at the end of the block. People tend to use those. #SARSCoV2 #COVID19 #VisionZero #ClimateCrisis

Check your #physicaldistance! Use your surroundings to make sure you’re maintaining 6 feet of distance from others to help stop the spread of #covid19. Benches, tree pits and more can help you easily visualize how far you should be from the people you pass. #whatis6feet
