”A sharp rise in citywide crime since 2020 began was sparked by New York’s new bail reform laws, which took away a judge’s discretion to hold repeat and possibly violent offenders behind bars, said.”

We have not always agreed with Judge Grasso, but it is difficult to argue with his critique of bail reform “The scope of removal of judicial discretion on bail matters in this ‘reform package’ is breathtaking,” Judge Grasso said We applaud him for publicly raising his concerns!

“When officers on patrol heard gunshots, they jumped into action — finding & chasing down the suspect. They were able to safely recover this firearm & arrest the man carrying it.” - Thank you for going into harm’s way to keep New Yorkers safe.

Like Bail Reform, Discovery Reform is endangering lives & safety: Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is calling on Albany “to fix criminal justice reform immediately,..new discovery requirements pose a threat to both the victims & witnesses of crimes.”

When an elderly woman gets robbed in our area, we do what ever it takes to apprehend the perpetrator. Even if it means coordinating with your older brother from another command. Great work Po. Zambrano with the swift intell to his brother Po.Zambrano . 💙

After years of major drops in crime stats, it is no coincidence that we are seeing a 16.9% increase in total crime now, just weeks after bail reform was officially implemented. It’s time for the State Legislature to do their job & let law enforcement actually ENFORCE the LAWS!

After Jan. 1 bail reform “NYC experienced worst January for serious crime in 5 years.” Prof. O’Donnell “said the entire bail issue suffered from poor planning discussion at the legislative stage. Criminals know they don’t have to fear trying to make bail.”

Let's give officers a raise. It will boost officer morale, improve diversity, and ensure their pay is commensurate with the increased workload they're asked to take on. Thanks to and colleagues in Albany for leading this charge.

. pays lip service to POs & their tireless efforts to make NYC the . Will he keep denying NYC POs a fair market wage as nearly all NYC-area Dem lawmakers implore him to put his money where his mouth is & support the hardworking women & men of the NYPD?

NYPD officers earn ~ 40% -50% less than their counterparts in neighboring jurisdictions. They have higher costs of living in the city and face an incredibly difficult work environment. It’s time we pay our police officers what they are deserved.

This crime & release of the accused pursuant to the new bail law highlights the deceptive way in which bail reform was sold to NYers. Only “low level/non violent” crimes are included in the reform law, advocates/pols professed Does the video show a low level/non violent crime?

As bail reform proponents try to conceal the scope of the threat caused/victims harmed, the fact is the bail reform law has resulted in NY quietly sending an estimated 25,000 accused criminals back into our communities BEFORE the law took effect on Jan. 1.

Bail Reform enabling the most violent and depraved to commit more crime: “man arrested for trying to rape a woman in a Brooklyn train station earlier this week was in jail for almost a year before ...new bail reform laws allowed him to go free & commit more crimes” per the DN.

According to the , cops were so outraged that they dug into the case & discovered man was also on parole for burglary so they were able to take him back into custody. Why was that info. not before the judge who released him? Crim Justice system fails across the board.

This couple were victims of a violent crime but are too afraid to report it because under new pro-criminal reforms the perp can be given their names/home address creating an easy path to their door for reprisal. In their shoes would you report the crime?

When our Community Affairs Officers received a phone call from one of our biggest fans we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to pay him a surprise visit at his school & give him a few early birthday gifts. Happy 4th birthday Eric from the men & women at the 110th Precinct!
