It’s not the responsibility of a DA to protect the careers of cops. But it is the responsibility of cops to testify truthfully on the stand, in police docs & in conversations with ADAs. The public deserves to know which officers were found to be incredible.

If you can prove perjury, prosecute. Otherwise these officers face irreperable harm to their reputation, impacting their ability to do their jobs & feed their families. As an attorney, you should appreciate that all Americans, especially public servants, have rights.
