We are approaching the point of no return. Disorder controls the streets, and our elected leaders refuse to allow us to take them back. As police officers, we need to draw a line. In situations like this, we need to take action to protect ourselves and the public. twitter.com/NYScanner/stat

Its going to worse until the Mayor and other City Officials step up and support their police officers before its too late.

This is why I am glad my husband is retiring. 29 years as a cop, and I have had it.

It's obvious these punks are provoking and recording and praying for the cop to react in a negative way so they can have a lawsuit or become the next media star.

I don't understand this at all. This is harassment of the worst kind and these people throwing water (or anything) at any police officer should be arrested. Any other policy is absurd.
