We’re encouraging anyone who can work from home to do so. It will alleviate crowds and stop the spread of COVID-19. Try taking the subway at off-peak hours if you can. Visit http://nyc.gov/coronavirus  for more information.pic.twitter.com/LN87BplBYb

So why are you still holding the parade? Idiocy.

Not that I’m aware, but to be fair most people are staying away. The city is pretty quiet.

*Everyone starts taking subway at off peak hours*. Well done. -_- This is not the kind of response one expects, not especially in a city with millions of residents, and cramped subways majority of times. How long before you pull a much needed Wuhan-esq response?

Where's your proof that coronavirus is spreading in overcrowded New York City? Stop going on TV. This ain't @NYCMayor's "9/11" leadership moment.

The most recent government study revealed that virus lives in air for a few hours. Explain to parents, teachers and students how being in a public school building is safe? You can send food to family shelters that have NYC school children residing in them.

Can you stagger school hours? Both of your tips are impossible as a DOE employee.
