Dear Mr. Mayor. I was there, standing on the blocked street at Bedford x penn st with a mask & social distancing. All people around me had masks and kept a distance. Yes, the crowd was big, but spread. Until the
@NYPD came & screamed, "everyone immediately go-up-on-the-sidewalk!" -
Stop. Look at the photos. Many were not wearing masks. I'm very sorry for your loss but many thousands of New Yorkers have been lost who haven't been properly mourned or laid to rest yet. It's hard for all of us We all want our city to get back and to do that we must distance.
