  2. We just had another record-breaking year for reducing crime in our city. For two years in a row we had fewer than 300 homicides. And while the NYPD drives crime to record lows, arrests are also dropping. Safety and fairness go hand in hand in the safest big city in America.

    The Trump administration wants to include a citizenship question on the Census in order to undercount immigrants. That's unconstitutional. We need a dynamic leader to make sure every New Yorker is counted. That’s why I named Director of the Census for New York City.

    We could get light snow tonight from midnight to 7 AM, so New Yorkers should prepare for a slippery or wet morning commute. We don't expect much accumulation on unpaved surfaces, but crews will be out treating the roads and preparing for the worst just in case.
