🌊Rip currents can be difficult to see, are sometimes shallow, & can move faster than an Olympic swimmer. 🔭 are easier to identify from an elevated vantage point such as a lifeguard stand, dune line, or even at the beach access point. 🏝Be .

🤔Caught in a ? ⚠️DO NOT PANIC! 🌊Relax & float to conserve energy. 🏊Good swimmer? Swim parallel to shore till you clear the pull of the rip current. 🤷Not a skilled swimmer? Flip on your back & float. 📣WAVE & YELL to get the lifeguard's attention. 🏖️Be .
