Snow continues mainly for the north today. Gusty winds are expected for portions of the area today as a winter storm approaches for Friday, looking to impact the area through Monday. #wywx

Although we are not expecting warmer temperatures anytime soon, it may be a good idea to keep this info. in mind for if/when temperatures do finally warm. The topic is overland flooding, which occurs when temperatures warm quickly, leading to rapid snow melt and flooding. #wywx

Dense Fog is enveloping the town of Riverton and surrounding areas in the Wind River Basin. An accident has already been reported, so take it slow and exercise caution when traveling this morning. A dense fog advisory is in effect until noon today. #wywx #fog

Light snow chances will continue in the coming days. More snow is favored to fall in the Bighorn Mountains. Otherwise, high temperatures continue to remain under normal for this time of year. #wywx

🧊More cold on the way! Early indications are for much colder air to arrive from the north next weekend. High temps by Sunday 1/29, could be at least 15-25F degrees colder than the lower to mid 30s we normally see. Brrr!

Light snow is expected this evening into Monday morning for southern and central Wyoming, with the highest snow totals forecast on north-facing slopes near Thermopolis, Lander, and Casper. Expect winter travel conditions tonight. #WYwx
