    12:30 AM 2/12/22 Update: Moderate snow continues along the southern I-25 corridor but will decrease in intensity through 2 AM. Expect slick, slushy and snowpacked roads overnight, especially on untreated surfaces.

    Heavy snow will spread across the southeast mountains and adjacent plains this afternoon through tonight. Although the duration of the heavier snow will be brief, quickly deteriorating travel conditions will be possible during the evening commute!

    A cold front pushes south across the Palmer Divide and the eastern plains Friday AM, producing north winds of 15 to 25 mph gusting to 45 mph, and making for a much cooler day. Snow develops over the Palmer Divide by the afternoon, then spreads south through the night.
