  2. Here is a loop of the HRRR model and is similar to our official forecast. Rain becomes consistent towards mid evening, then picks up in intensity from 10 pm - 1 am, give or take 2 hours SW to NE. The steady rain continues into the morning commute.

    After a dry start on Wednesday, a frontal system approaches and will bring rain to the area. Rain chances start as early as Wednesday afternoon for northeast NJ and NYC. Wet conditions will last through Friday morning and 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected.
