No need to adjust your screen. The entire CONUS ranked hottest on record for the 3-month period May-June-July at 70.9 degrees F. Records go back to 1895. #CAwx #LAheat #heatwavepic.twitter.com/JPQVvO1K4L

Duh, of course it's hot you painted the US red! You should have chosen cool green or blue to reduce the temperature.

When you find out the UN doesn't include the Sun, which is the most influential input to the earths climate, in its climate change studies , logically the man made global warming theory goes up in smoke !

This might be the dumbest tweet on here. That is just down right impressive.

Yet here in the SF Bay Area just along the ocean and the Bay, it's been a fairly cool summer. Probably the coolest temperatures in the entire nation.

Not terribly surprising as hotter inland temps provide a stronger surface high that pulls air in off the cooler ocean waters (and right across SF) even more strongly. And yeah water temps are all sorts of anomalous- really hot in SoCal.

Sounds like you have a common misunderstanding about weather (short term changes) versus climate (long term averages). Here’s a PBS series by climate scientist @KHayhoe if you want to learn and update your understanding of climate science:https://youtu.be/k5_zpjerQFo

PBS? That's America's version of Pravda. I'll trust the real scientists debunking it.

Is it because many of my fellow Americans are getting fatter and thereby producing more body heat from their gross obese asses. Quit being fat.
