Here is a picture of the rainfall over the last 12 hours. Some of the higher elevations had over a 0.5" but most places had much less. Light rain could still fall through the afternoon, and an inch or so of snow is expected above 3500' tonight.

An approaching storm will bring mainly light rain & low elevation mountain snow to the area tonight into early Mon. The heaviest rain will be in NW SLO county. Light snow could affect Tejon Pass & the VTA Mtns north slopes Sun night-Mon AM. #CAwx #SoCal
An approaching storm system will bring moderate rain to areas North of Point Conception starting this afternoon, with light rain south of Point Conception late tonight into early Sunday. Locally heavy rain is possible over NW San Luis Obispo County. Rain totals for North of Point Conception will be 0.15 to 0.50 inches with local accumulations of 1.00 inches or more over the Santa Lucia Mountains. South of Point Conception, accumulations of around 0.10 inch are likely. Snow levels will drop to near 5,000 feet Sunday afternoon, and then to near 3,500 feet late Sunday night into early Monday. There will likely be light snow accumulations less than 1 inch over Tejon Pass Sunday night into early Monday morning, but with a 20 percent chance of 1-2 inches accumulation. In addition, the north slopes of the Ventura County mountains could see an inch or two of snow over 4,000 feet.  Gusty southwest winds are expected tonight, shifting to the west to northwest on Sunday with gusts of 20-40 mph.

Gusty #SantaAnaWinds are expected tonight through tomorrow with gusts of 30-50 mph for the mountains of LA and Ventura Counties. It will be dry but no fire weather issues are expected due to the signifcant rainfall we've had. #CAwx
Gusty northeast winds will develop tonight across the Santa Ana wind-prone region of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The strongest winds will be over the mountains and foothills, with gusts 40-50 mph, and a bit lower in the valleys and coastal areas with gusts of 30-45 mph. Impacts of the wind will be hazardous driving conditions due to gusty cross winds, downed trees and tree limbs, and possible power outages. Slow down while driving, watch for blowing objects, and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.

A cold air mass will settle over the area tonight, bringing near freezing temperatures to the Central Coast, Ojai Valley, and Lake Casitas with temperatures dropping to as low as 32 to 36 degrees. These conditions may result in crop and vegetation damage, and hypothermia danger to people and animals. Protect against freezing temperatures by seeking shelter and covering vulnerable plants.

Most areas will received one quarter inch or less of rainfall, although the San Gabriel Mountains could receive between one quarter to three quarters of an inch of rainfall. The main issue with this storm will be snow levels. Snow levels on Sunday will drop to around 4,000 feet, but will drop even further Sunday night and Monday, down to the near 3,000 feet. So, mountain areas can expect some accumulating snowfall, with 1-2 inches of snow possible on the Grapevine.  Additionally, the low snow levels will likely result in some hazardous winter driving conditions for the Grapevine area, and on other mountain roads, Sunday night and Monday.
