May 1, 2023 is National Heatstroke Prevention Day. Florida is 2nd in the number of pediatric heatstroke deaths between 1998-2022. It’s important to remember that the inside of your car is much higher than the outside temperature.

May 1st 5:30 AM EST | KBYX RADAR IS CURRENTLY INOPERABLE DUE TO A PEDESTAL ALARM. THERE IS CURRENTLY NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR RETURN TO SERVICE, BUT ELECTRONICS TECHNICIANS WILL TROUBLE SHOOT THE PROBLEM LATER THIS MORNING AFTER 1200 UTC.
