Not only do you have to content with snow covered roads, but also bitter cold temperatures and wind chills this morning. 6am wind chills are the lowest over northwest and north central Iowa and this is where a wind chill advisory remains in effect until late this morning. #iawx

Snowfall will be the most persistent over the northern half of the state today. The worst conditions will be this morning over northern Iowa with the highest snowfall rates and visibility as low as a half a mile due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. #iawx
