    Continue to stay weather aware as thunderstorms develop early next week. Scattered thunderstorms which could become severe are possible Tuesday afternoon for areas along or east of I-25. By mid-week Wednesday, chances of precipitation decrease with mostly sunny skies

    STAY WEATHER AWARE: Storms continue firing up this evening small hail and strong wind gusts are associated be careful if you are traveling in the path of these storms!

    At 324 PM MDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Cheyenne, moving northeast at 10 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 370 and 374.

    Penny size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include: Pine Bluffs and Panorama Point. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 395 and 402. Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 1 and 6.

    ☀️🥵More records broken today for Torrington, Douglas, Chadron, & Scottsbluff! These cities broke their record high temperatures today. Tomorrow, high temperatures will again trend in the lower 80s to lower 90s across southeastern WY and the western NE Panhandle.

    This storm is moving east at 5 MPH. TRAVELERS: Winds in excess of 30 mph and large amounts of rainfall will be possible with this storm. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 295 and 302!

    Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Natural Fort, or 12 miles southwest of Cheyenne, moving east at 35mph. Pea size hail/winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm. This includes the following: I-25 in Wyoming between mile markers 1 and 8.
