We have issued a Fire Weather Watch for South Park, the southern foothills, Palmer Divide and plains, in effect Tuesday from noon to 7 PM. Expect gusts 25 to 45 mph with humidity as low as 8 percent, which is favorable for rapid fire spread. #COwx

"Warm minimum" records take one and a half warm nights as it needs to stay warm until midnight MST/1 AM MDT. Warm nights are often ahead of a cold front, so the challenge is whether the cold front arrives too soon. Tonight we got north winds, but it didn't cool off too much!#cowx
