    Have you taken your ? Remember, during severe weather, head to an interior room on the lowest floor away windows. Avoid exterior walls because flying debris can penetrate even a brick wall.

  9. We continue to monitor severe weather potential late tonight through midday on Thursday across Central Alabama. Be advised there is another risk of severe storms much of the day on Friday. We are also monitoring severe weather potential Saturday as well. Check back for updates.

  10. Increasing clouds today with a few showers southwest this afternoon. Highs around 80. Showers and storms increasing from the northwest tonight with lows around 60. Showers and storms moving from northwest to southeast Thursday with highs in the 70s.

    March 25th Survey Update: We recently received additional damage reports across northern Calhoun County. After investigating, we were able to connect the Ohatchee track with the Piedmont (Cherokee Co) track. This brings the total tornado county down to 10.
