After fleeing Russia, our two clients seeking asylum in the United States are being held in detention as we work to get them released. Read about their harrowing journey in search of safety in this article from Politico. Immigration detention is inhumane.
Welcome news that this federal court is recognizing the illegality of the Title 42 policy that prevented so many from pursuing their right under U.S. and international law to seek asylum. I hope the Biden Administration will not appeal (but expect to be disappointed on that).

Shame on the Biden Administration for abandoning their promises to protect TPS holders and their families.

By failing to reach a just settlement in Ramos & having yet to re-designate TPS for 100k+, @JoeBiden is doing the opposite of what he promised to migrant families & is instead endorsing Trump’s anti-immigrant policies. #TPSJustice #ResidencyNOW nationaltpsalliance.org/breaking-100k-

I remain shocked and disappointed that the Biden Admin has failed to keep its promise to deliver #tpsjustice. But if they want to defend the Trump admin terminations, so be it. I’m proud to continue fighting for justice for the TPS community.
