Who's 's biggest shareholder? The Norwegian government 🤦
Rich countries need to be taking their fair share of responsibility for the climate crisis and support the transition to renewables.
Instead they’re expanding fossil fuels across the world.

**KLAXON** first review for my book! It's a thoughtful, generous, but also critical review by Andrew Mulholland at 'The Past' which I'm immensely pleased with and grateful for: "A provocative book which will ruffle feathers"

Rightfully many are critical of politicians’ endemic failure & empty rhetoric on climate change. All more reason to support MP & cross-party colleagues’ Climate Emergency Bill If you think we should meet our Paris commitments, ask your MP to support it.

Tomorrow, I’m bringing the #CEBill back to Parliament.
To truly address the global climate-nature crisis, we must align UK law with what’s needed to reverse nature loss by 2030—and keep 1.5°C alive.
The CE Bill will do exactly that!

Great that #CEBill is back in Commons today - a bold, joined-up plan to cut emissions in line with 1.5C, reverse nature loss & create climate & nature assembly.
Businesses, NGOs, scientists, citizens & cross-party MPs are all getting behind it - Govt must join them!

Reality dawns - & an embarrassing Govt u-turn as truth finally catches up with the hardline Brexiteers. These EU laws protect our environment, health, safety & working conditions - they must be maintained & strengthened, not diluted & scrapped #REULBill

Interest rate hikes by central banks considerably slow down the renewable energy transition: newly applied renewable energy technologies have large front-loaded costs, and are less competitive than already installed fossil fuel technologies at higher interest rates.

Net Zero duty for Ofgem:

It's a really obvious and necessary thing to do but thirteen years later we're still debating it.
