You do realize that the Hepatitis B vaccine was released as a two-dose vaccine, but later updated to 3 after clinical use suggested 3 doses were required. This is no different. Please, leave medical analysis to those of us in the field.

FDA needs to move the Pfizer booster to 6 months pronto to keep pace with the coming winter rise in cases. 8 months will be behind the curve and will cost lives and put even further strain on the healthcare system at the peak of the winter wave.

This seems ridiculous at the very least for people vaccinated since the end of March, and even those vaccinated earlier surely have protection, even if can no longer be conservatively considered “full”.

Agree. And the messaging of this is really unfortunate. Contributes to the view that vaccines are of mild utility and are fleeting. Not to mention that we are not set up to get everyone a booster in, say, the next month.
