    Since it hasn't felt very spring-like so far, Bunny is extending his nature-themed until Friday 6 April. It's on every day 10.30am-4pm and you can pick up a map from visitor reception (£2.50 per map).

    Wow, that's quite a walk. Peanut looks very content, and very cute.

    Did a 4 and a half mile walk round muddy today with the pooch. Got soaked. So did peanut.. aw look at his little face 😊

    Back to the grind after a wonderful Easter weekend with family & friends. The highlight was our visit to I generally didn't want to wash this off Sunday night. What a beautiful estate. Can't wait to return in the summer.

    At night, hundreds of Gibside's nocturnal visitors come out to enjoy the surroundings. You can see them too during a bat walk on Sat 28 April 8-10pm. Ring 01207 541820 (£10 includes tea and cake)
