    History has shown that price controls on any commodity produce unintended but consistently detrimental effects. Despite this, the Department of Health and Human Services is considering a scheme to set some Medicare drug prices using an international index.

    Congress should consider addressing employment classification issues in order to prevent these kinds of problems from harming the explosive growth of the sharing economy elsewhere in the country.

    COVID-19 proves why MFN is a bad idea. Foreign drug pricing schemes lead to access restrictions & will scuttle critical R&D investments. If MFN proceeds it could be a steppingstone for Pelosi/Sanders radical socialized medicine plans.
