    Our former ambassador to Berlin. Along with the consensus of ex- types doesn’t seem full of praise for the EU.

    The EU has land borders with three large and important countries: Russia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. It now has bad relations with all three of them. Whatever the rights and wrongs in each case, this is hardly a triumph of European statecraft.

    AZ should sue the hell out of the EU for breech of contract and reputational damage as well as sheer incompetence

    Wow it's really true. The European Commission's "redacted" copy of the AstraZeneca-EU vaccine contract is not redacted at all because you can just see everything in the bookmarks bar on the left.
