    Its Mi’kmaq word Monday! Today’s word is apuknajit (pronounced ah-booga-nuh-jid) which means February but translates to “snow blinder”. Snow blindness is a condition caused by exposure to UV rays, and is kind of like a sunburn on the cornea! Don’t forget sunglasses 🕶❄️ KR
