Huh does amfi_get_out_of_my_way disable the entitlement verification/amfi? I thought it wasn't possible to change that without some hacks. Can you just set it with nvram boot-args when SIP is disabled?

Yup - it allows you to use any entitlement that your heart desires. And sadly (and thankfully) you cannot touch NVRAM while SIP is disabled - otherwise malware would have a field day.
