Every time a landlord sells up a house is lost from market
. Unless they self implode they on the market for buyers be it other potential landlords or first time buyerspic.twitter.com/Xz2bNwJwCY -
It is lost from the rental market, yes. It may free housing for first time buyers, but what about those who may never earn enough to buy, or those with disabilities dependent on housing benefit and private rented houses? When landlords sell up - what of them? become homeless?

For renters, yes it vanishes. Only available to purchasers. So it does indeed vanish from the rental market.

So they'll sell their investments? Won't be a bad thing. Others will step in only too happy to invest at lower returns. If the market wasn't artificially inflated in the first place, we wouldn't be having this conversation.......

Its crazy socialist nonsense. I'll have plenty of money and an easier life as I start to sell off. If prices go down it will hit young families as mortgages go negative. Rents will go up due to lack of supply. It's not guys like me who will be hurt. Good luck.
