"Baseload" and "peakload" describe the loads. That doesn't change because you favor generation that can't supply base or match peak loads.

The issue is decarbonization. Can we afford to lose existing low-C gen, & spend the next decade trying to replace it?

If NRDC keeps negatively spinning the concept of dispatchable, non-weather dependent power this hard I say we hook them up to a generator.
