Someone should tell the self-important @NRA social media director to stay in their lane.
When you’ve seen what I’ve seen and you’ve had the training I’ve had, then I may consult with you how best to manage the devastating effects of gun shot injuries.

Nobody argues the devastation of a gun shot wound. No more than devastation from stab wounds, burns, blunt force trauma, etc. Gun bans are out. Firearm safe practices are in, and the NRA shines in this department.

These physicians unfairly single out guns from other dangerous products. Parents are instructed to keep matches and poisons out of children's reach. Securing one's firearms when unarmed is a reasonable safety precaution.

Why does the NRA fight safe storage laws then?

NRA, again trying to intimidate people and to force them from telling the truth. I am thankful for the doctors who truthfully described how AR 15 bullets destroyed my daughters body. She was hit by a single bullet that destroyed her spine and spinal cord. Sometimes truth hurts.

I’m an ER doctor in the city with the highest rate of shootings per population in our country. My ED averages 2 GSWs per day and my children’s hospital sees more GSWs than any other children’s hospital in the country. This is my lane. Every. Day.

Thank you Dr. Mueller! The NRA is a terrorist group. Stifling statistics and lying! They must be stopped

I will be happy to call for a
@NRA consult the next time I am pulling bullets out a patient’s abdomen and stapling their guts closed. Hopefully we will never have children slaughtered in our schools again in this state of#Connecticut -
Predictably ridiculous that the NRA would step in to ridicule and bully doctors for representing exactly what they should...Safer gun practices. There are so many ways we could protect the 2nd amendment and put limits on gun violence, and instead, the all or nothing approach.
