El Paso County is posting job openings for morgue workers — as the local death toll from COVID-19 rises. It comes as officials had been relying on low-level inmates from the county jail to assist with moving remains of the deceased.https://trib.al/tXHzod3

Sorry to hear about El Paso, but there obesity rate is 35% so in theory any cities w/ higher level of obesity would expect more severe COVID. It’s not just COVID but the underlying chronic medical conditions that will challenge how one recovers.https://www.worldobesity.org/news/statement-coronavirus-covid-19-obesity …

Trumps always said he was the jobs President. But I don't think any of us imagined a dystopian state in which his jobs creation strategy would be to ignore an exploding pandemic to the point where we need to hire a whole new workforce of people to deal with the dead bodies.

So sad, so evil, this never should have happened but for criminally stupid people mocking use of masks, leading to all these deaths like a horror story version of the Pied Piper. (Side note: Inmates have levels?)
