I understand they're not the most effective methods of evaluating a high school graduate's intelligence or readiness for college but I think both exams have their place in education & I do wonder what's next. Get rid of the GRE? NCLEX? MCAT?

Yes, get rid of the GRE. Proving I know middle school algebra does not demonstrate my ability in grad school.
