Okay... yes saving lives matters, but the real issue is how? National discourse argues addiction is a moral weakness but I’d argue addiction is more about mental health. The answer really lies in changing our status quo and lifting the stigma off the marginalized.

change the top priority of saving lives and the opioid crisis problem is solved... the less # of addicts there are, the less # of people there are for the pharma industry to sell drugs to… so the industry dies. with no addicts or industry the social stigma eventually goes away.
