How about not calling it a tax and explaining to your children that they don't need all of that shitty candy for themselves and sharing with others is the right thing to do?

Because rebranding something with a “new” or “updated” definition or purpose is still just propaganda. Why not call a chicken a chicken, teach the kids the purpose of said chicken, and move on?
