@NPR please stop normalizing Trumpism and doing your damndest to mainstream bothsides nonsense. Your reporters know what is TRUE vs UNTRUE, and *that distinction* is your journalistic responsibility. You are dangerously close to losing my support.

When you interview someone talking about kneeling protests being “disrespectful”, you KNOW the truth of why this protest is undertaken and that’s not an opinion but a FACT. Start helping Americans push back against completely false narratives created to advance authoritarianism.

Did you just listen or did you educate them too?
-
They’re super good recently at leaving wild falsehoods totally unchallenged in furtherance of the bothsides agenda.
-
Good listening skills will not save America from the threat of the
#AntiTruthVirus spreading across America. Do you understand this,@NPR?

Ronnie Mitchell, so called pastor, is not of God. As a former Marine he should know that he fought for the right to kneel. As a football coach HE should show some respect to the players he pretends to care about. Callin this what it is, white supremacy...
-
Yes! And
@NPR@nprpolitics should have the integrity to challenge wild falsehoods with FACTS. That in fact *is* their journalistic responsibility.

Oh great more musings from a Trump supporter who was just so hurt when he kicked players off his team for protesting police brutality and disparate treatment. Thanks NPR we definitely have not gotten enough of this perspective.
-
Right?? I’m honestly infuriated by
@NPR@nprpolitics coverage lately. The things these people are saying are factually untrue. They should be challenged and fact checked both on air and in person. That’s what journalistic ethics are. Bothsidesism is a slide into authoritarianism.

If you’re more concerned with kneeling than domestic terrorism, you might be a republican.

Racial injustice is a cop out for blacks behaving badly. Laws are equal, stop breaking them, problem solved.
-
Except the punishment isn't always applied the same and certain laws affect certain groups more than others. But yeah, laws are equal if you ignore that. I mean look at all the white collar criminals that get slaps on the hands because they got money.

Any person who feels or states that freedom of speech (even by way of protest) should be questioned could not be considered American.

This sounded more like a therapy session than an interview. Why not straight up ask the good pastor why he has a right to his beliefs but his kneeling players don't? More kid-glove treatment of bigots from NPR. Shocker.
