I know it's hard but you must please acknowledge a deep and abiding need of conservatives to play the victim. Doesn't matter that they hold all the power, all the privilege; to them, it's CONSERVATIVE WHITE MEN who are the *Real* victims, not all those women they molested...

Is this the same source that told you that
@HoustonTX has more than 1.2 million stray animals? Asking for a friend.pic.twitter.com/ijyJlE0vv2
-
I don't get it.... Seriously. What?
-
Define "it."
-
Someone said we had that many strays?
-
Yes. NPR did in late December, 2017, when fewer people listen in the morning. Story by
@samraphelson . Google it, then get back to me. There is more to the story. -
Idiots. Lol.
-
Which part... ...the use of alleged stats from 2012? ...using a Boston based author as a key resource? (He and I had an interesting Twitter exchange, btw. To this day, from NPR...crickets) ...the failure to apply basic logic, i.e., that would be nearly 1,400 STRAYS per sq. mile?
-
Let's go with all of the above. I expect better from NPR.

Women are republicans too.
-
There will always be people to vote against their interests, and the people who convince them to do so. Doesn't make it any less repulsive

Common? One is far too many - just like one assault is far, far, far too many, too!

...37% of democrats agree they are COMMON? That alone is a sad statistic.

Statistics tell us it's around 2%, so everyone is wrong
-
That much-used "stat" is false. Published research has documented false rape and sexual assault rates ranging from 8 percent to 41 percent, according to "False Allegations: Investigative and Forensic Issues in Fraudulent Reports of Crime" by Turvey, Savino and Mares. -
Thanks, but using one study, especially one that had such a vast range of results, isn't the best argument. Here's a government meta-analysis that concluded around 5%: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26679304
-
I've referred to a much more in-depth study covering a wider range than your referred-to analysis that only dealt with confirmed cases. You discount the reasons why false allegations don't get to criminal or civil courts. That's a serious flaw.
