Trump Says He Will Void Birthright Citizenship Law Through Executive Orderhttps://n.pr/2RmxzeF

Exactly. Which is why the line in the previous tweet that it is "Constitutionally unsettled" seems weird. Cause.....looks pretty settled to me. I mean...if words have meaning...
-
The equal protection clause in the 14th looks clear also yet.. Affirmative action, protected classes, women can't be drafted, 20 year olds can't drink.....
-
Thought that’s what you guys were against it when ads came out that Hillary wanted to draft your daughters
You’re also mad trump dodged the draft right?
Women serve in the military & this tweet degrades every single female veteran that protects your rights & way of life! -
Who are "you guys"? I think if we have a draft men and women should be treated equally. I've always thought so. This in no way degrades anyone.

"and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" The children of diplomats are explicitly exempted because of the above clause. There is nothing that prevents others from being exempted legislatively.
-
They are explicitly exempted bc they are NOT subject to the jurisdiction of their country of residence due to the diplomatic immunity. The rest of the immigrants, no matter how they entered the state, do not benefit of that immunity and hence are subjects to the US jurisdiction.
-
Physics geek will try make immigrants immune to prosecution to try to get them not to be citizens. That’s going to be fun when you try to deport someone but have made them not subject to US jurisdiction!

So Trump Self-Deports? (Scotland Mom) or does he turn in Ivanka, Barron, Don Jr or Eric first?
-
I'm becoming more and more convinced that these people aren't really playing stupid. Now that the new meme is that "Trump hates Jews" lefties act like they have never heard of BDS.
-
What is BDS?

When we argue only for Merit based immigration policy, we dismiss the great potential of every child to become great.
-
Then why not use that potential greatness to better their home country?
-
Which, for children born within the United States... Is the United States.
-
Children born to parents in this country illegally are subject to the parents home country.
-
No, they aren't? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jus_soli
-
Funny how your little article says NO European country grants rights based on just soli. Yet you act like its barbaric because “Trump bad en stuff.”
-
I did not say anything is barbaric, I have no position on this. I'm saying is that this is what this is what's written on the american constitution. Whether you guys want to start allowing politicians to strike down constitutional amendments or not is your decision.

Just once I’d like to see a headline that isn’t [here’s a lie trump said, but we won’t specify it’s a lie] or [due to the lie, here’s a truth we’ll present as obvious as if it isn’t under immediate threat] but just [trump is a liar and needs to be removed from office immediately]
-
we can’t “well, actually, sir...” trump’s lies and crimes. we have to ensure that as many gov agencies, state govs and local govs as possible are actively defying and inhibiting all actions of the executive branch, and actively enacting his immediate removal and prosecution
-
The people who originally wrote the 14th amendment definitely didnt think it guaranteed birthright citizenship
