It’s a shame that an international elections monitor/former US President has to tell a grown-ass, government official, who is supposed to have mental capacity and integrity of his own, that his conflict-of-interest is glaring

Moral leadership is what we need at all times but especially in the age of Trump.

I keep hoping some of us who voted for this will wake up and find their moral courage. Today's climate is all about morality and integrity and those who seem to lack it. There is no room for hatred and the immorality that comes from it. We need to do better.

President Jimmy Carter has observed about 100 elections in 38 countries. He's qualified to speak on this matter, and I hope he gets the chance to observe this election in his homestate. 🤞🏻

This call from one of most decent people in America will go unheeded. Republicans have abandoned any sense of decency, empathy, honesty or fairness. All they care about is tribe & winning. They lost their souls & moral compass by embracing Trump. They have nothing good to offer.

Nope. The man was honest, followed the law, and kept us out of war. He was not the greatest president - but he was what we needed after Nixon.

Carter is the reason Iran is in power today and creating fires throughout the Middle East. There would be no wars today if not for Ol' Jimmy.

No, silly. Ike/Nixon placed the Shah in Iran and through bad CIA policy, tried to bolster his popularity. It didn't work. Iran was going to blow up regardless.

Oh honey. The Shah built Iran into a first world country. His replacement wasn't democratically implemented. Carter encouraged a radical regime.

The British built the US colonies into an economic powerhouse. The people, led by young upstarts, wanted something different.

Thanks! I am the director of a Presbyterian camp. For my ministry - it is not about selling "religious behavior", it is about demonstrating Christian behavior for the next generation. ... like Jimmy Carter.
