So what began this caravan? What were these people told before leaving? Who was telling them? Where did the information come from? When has there ever been a mass journey to the US from a Central American country? This has every appearance of a set-up to tip the election.
-
So what mastermind got 7,000 people to walk thousands of miles and risk their lives to do this??
-
That's what I'm asking. Seems kind of odd does'nt it ? 7000 people all at once ??

Just curious , how long will it take this mass of travelers to reach the border ? Would it just happen to be Tuesday, November 6th?
-
What are you implying Sandra?

They are at the border with Guatemala. Might want to put that in the headline NPR, otherwise it just gives folder to fear mongers. Look at these comments.
-
its like 1000 miles for god sakes
-
Yeah, not sure why NPR is doing this right now.
-
Cause folks can read the story if they want the details. Expecting people to read isnt fear mongering, its just not treating your readers like idiots.
-
Lots of people just skim the headlines—
-
Yes and that’s exactly the problem with society. No one reads the article. Read a headline and react.

Destabilization, banana republics, and puppet regimes that made up decades of U.S. foreign policy with South America is a bipartisan issue. But while we are here you do know who helped create the cartels right?pic.twitter.com/7ZWTtBEbUq

Not totally false but not giving credit to the other Presidents who also joined that fun. Pretty much from Ford until today...
-
Fair enough. Big picture point being that US policies are responsible for the humanitarian crisis and mass exodus. It’s like smacking someone’s ice cream cone out of their hand and then wondering why they are asking for some of yours.
