The American tradition of freedom of the press, Seth, is what enables us to be fair in our coverage. We get most of our money from private sources, by the way, and I don't believe we deface the president as you suggest.

Does he not know that @SilverbergSeth is like THE most Jewish name ever? It’s either a ton of self loathing or lack of self awareness
-
Natalie, I doubt it's his real name.
-
Nor are his 15 followers
-
But he’s been active on Twitter since…checks notes.....well, welcome to Twitter, Seth! And blocked.

Where is the outrage at China for killing the head of Interpol and for throwing the head officer of Macau off a building? Selective outrage. The silence is deafening.
-
He’s detained not dead.
-
Yes over a million muslims in China are being detained in camps. Where is the outrage?
-
Raymond, we have done that story, and will again. But I learned in covering wars that it doesn't help to weight outrage on a scale. They're all wrong. But it doesn't help people understand to say, "Why don't you complain about this, before you complain about that?"
-
I am a fanatic listener of NPR, I agree you did a 4 minute piece on the million muslims people in camps, but the 24/7 coverage of the Khashoggi story? Why? One persons viscious death versus a million people in Chinese camps or Interpol Chief. Probably a viscious death as well??

China is not an ally. It’s an adversary. One of the many reasons is the Chinese record of human rights abuse. Saudi Arabia is one of the worst human rights abusers yet is considered an ally.

Trump is not being sarcastic. He sides with Putin, Kim jung-in, & the Saudi Prince over our International allies and our own Country, USA. He is not kidding when he encourages violence against journalist. He’s serious and wants more.
-
Elie, last line is, "But when the president pours praise on so many despots, he sounds nothing but sincere." Sorry your dog bit through your internet connection so you didn't have the chance to read it before you tweeted. (And the last sentence is a little sarcastic, I'm afraid.)

Sadly he sees himself in them or doesn’t and dreadfully wants that sort of power. He’s so very weak and isn’t scary or impressive. He is so sad and desperate and sickening.

Oh, come on! Trump says ""There are a lot of killers. You think our country's so innocent?" That has been liberal boilerplate for at least 50 years. i.e., "you think they're bad? Look at us!" The left still uses this all the time. But now that Trump says it, it's bad?
-
Rich, I prefaced a question to
@IvoHDaalder just today by pointing out how people on the left have questioned America's right to moral leadership.

Rick, our job isn't to be positive or negative, much less equally. Just fair. And I believe we are.
-
Scott,
#npr is bias. Not fair. Point out one good thing he has accomplished. I dare you
