Debate over Medicaid has centered on the idea of putting patients to work to earn their benefits. But some experts say a better question is: Are insurance companies, which receive hundreds of billions in public money, earning *their* Medicaid checks?https://n.pr/2EtBHId

Washington lacks the ingenuity and imagination to fix the problems plaguing the country, but they never seem to have that problem when it comes to figuring out new ways to exploit the tax payer.

If you want Medicaid and Medicare to continue don't vote for the ones trying so hard to kill it!!!! You DO know that the Republicans care about nothing else but more money for the rich! #VoteThemOut #VoteBlue

It was designed to allow private corporations to grift the $ without much oversight or accountability, just like the voucher system for charter schools.

Just another reason to pursue universal healthcare so it isn't driven by corporate profits. Just think with all the money already in Medicaid combined with Medicare and a slight tax increase we could exponentially improve access and affordability & have a healthier nation.

My insurance premiums are going up, while health corps reap billions. Social welfare for corporations is fine, right @SenateGOP?

It's weird that we're taking about ANYTHING other than the fact that the White House is clearly covering for the torture and murder of a journalist.

When the people in this country wake up to the fact that our entire system is designed to serve the system and not the customer, we will then be on our way to meaningful reform. TL;DR: No.
